Green County Sheriff 

MONROE — Ariel L. King, 35, Brodhead, and her passenger were uninjured in a one-vehicle crash reported at 11:03 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, in the W1800 block of County OK, Town of Decatur. She was eastbound when she lost control while negotiating a curve. The vehicle entered the ditch and went up an embankment, then hit a utility pole. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. King was cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control.

On Tuesday, Nov. 19:

●  Both drivers reported no injuries from a two-vehicle crash at 12:56 p.m. at Burkhalter Road and Goepfert Road, Town of Monroe. Megan E. Montrey, 23, Fitchburg, was stopped at the intersection and then proceed to drive in reverse. Her vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Deanndra D. Pleindoux, 36, Monroe. The Pleindoux vehicle sustained moderate damage. The Monterey vehicle sustained minor damage. Both were driven from the scene. Montrey was cited for unsafe backing.

●  All three drivers reported no injuries from a three-vehicle crash at 5 p.m. on Wis. 69 at Peerless Road, Town of New Glarus. Gary L. Wagner II, 36, Lodi, was northbound when he observed a vehicle ahead of him that was stopped and waiting for southbound traffic to clear to turn left onto Peerless Road. Wagner slowed. The driver behind him, Nathaniel D. Schexnayder, 28, Monroe, saw Wagner’s vehicle slow and also slowed down. The driver behind Schexnayder, Jacqueline Judd Scheurer, 34, New Glarus, did not see the vehicles ahead of her slow down and collided with Schexnayder, which caused his vehicle to collide with Wagner’s vehicle. Schexnayder’s vehicle was severely damage and towed. The other two vehicles sustained lesser damage and were driven from the scene. Judd Scheurer was cited for inattentive driving.

●  A vehicle vs. cow crash reported at 9:43 p.m. in the W9000 block of County Y, Town of Jordan, remained under investigation pending identification of the cow’s owner. The driver, Diana S. Heitz, 61, Argyle, reported no injuries. The vehicle sustained severe damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. The cow died.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Monday, Nov. 11:

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 6:21 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Lamont. A 2005 Ford owned by Francis Canales-Palma, 38, Darlington, and driven by Jose Israel-Velaquez, 44, Darlington, slid in a circular motion off the road due to snowy road conditions and came to rest in the ditch. It sustained minor damage and was towed. Israel-Valaquez was cited for driving without a valid license and an improper registration.

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 7:20 a.m. on County O, Town of Shullsburg. Ronald J. Shebuski, 36, Green Bay, was northbound and negotiating a curve when the trailer he was pulling slid on the snow-covered road, causing the trailer to unhitch and roll into an embankment. The trailer sustained minor damage and was towed.

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 8:16 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. The 2001 Ford driven by Dylan M. Abernathy, 23, St. Croix Falls, slid into the ditch due to snowy road conditions. It sustained minor damage and was towed.

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 8:48 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall. The 2015 Toyota driven by Yeonil You, 28, Madison, slid into the ditch due to snowy road conditions. It sustained minor damage and was towed.

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 9:30 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. The 2000 Chevrolet driven by Kaylee F. Turpin, 19, Shullsburg, slid into the ditch due to snowy road conditions. It sustained minor damage and was towed.

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 10:31 a.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings. The 2012 Subaru driven by Timothy A. Heinze, 41, Benton, slid into the ditch due to snowy road conditions. It sustained minor damage and was towed.

●  Anna M. Wonders, 58, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer at 5:40 p.m. on County D, Town of Fayette. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.

On Tuesday, Nov. 12:

●  Mark A. Nelson, 49, Potosi, reported hitting a deer at 4:57 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg. The 2000 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.

●  Deputies assisted the Wisconsin State Patrol with a rollover crash at 12:13 p.m. on County H, Town of Blanchard. Argyle EMS, Blanchardville EMS and Blanchardville police assisted on scene.

On Wednesday, Nov. 13:

●  Kyle J. Mulcahy, 27, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 6:10 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. No injuries were reported. The 2018 Ford sustained moderate damage. It was towed.
