Lafayette County Sheriff

● Clayton E. Stietz, 18, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 5:15 a.m. Dec. 1 on wis. 11, Town of Wayne. His 2015 Chrysler sustained moderate damage. It was towed. 

● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 3:35 p.m. Dec. 4 on North Lane Road, Town of Kendall. Mary K. Bahr, 53, Belmont, was southbound when she hit a dog on the roadway. Her 2019 Jeep sustained minor damage.

On Dec. 6: 

●  Glenn R. Andes, 64, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 5:09 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne. His 2008 Mercury sustained minor damage. 

●  Colin A. Rear, 21, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 8:07 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle. His 2014 Chevrolet sustained minor damage. 

●  Amu M. Barnes, 44, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 6:57 p.m. Dec. 8 on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard. The vehicle sustained moderate damage. 

On Dec. 9: 

●  Morgan A. Williams, 17, Argyle, was transported by Argyle EMS for minor injuries sustained from a two-vehicle accident at 1:58 p.m. on West Milwaukee Street in Argyle. Charles A. Thompson, 84, Shullsburg, was attempting to turn west onto Wis. 81 when he hit a vehicle operated by Williams. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. They were towed. 

●  Benjamin C. Zier, 32, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 6:09 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. His 2013 Chrysler sustained moderate damage. 

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 12:05 a.m. Dec. 12 on County F, Town of Fayette. Rodimiro Gutierrez-Santacruz, 31, Darlington, was eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle which caused him to exit the roadway and enter an embankment. He was arrested on a fourth-offense charge of operating while intoxicated, driving while revoked and failure to install ignition interlock. He was jailed Blanchardville Fire and Blanchardville EMS assisted.
