MONROE — Jeffrey L. Kleeman, 46, New Glarus, was evaluated by New Glarus EMS for injuries sustained from a single-vehicle crash at 2:28 a.m. Nov. 11 in the 200 block of 12th Avenue in New Glarus. He was eastbound when he swerved to avoid a dog on the roadway causing him to exit the roadway and lose control of his truck. He continued through a residential yard hitting an attached garage and coming to a rest on the property. His truck sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. It was towed. He was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence. He was also cited for failure to maintain control of vehicle. He was released to a responsible party.
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle crash at 7:29 a.m. Nov. 12 in the W7000 block of Vinger Road, Town of Adams. Thomas E. Coffey, 71, Argyle, was southbound when he attempted to reach for his cell phone causing him to enter the west shoulder hitting a tree. The vehicle was towed.
● Paula McNaught, 51, Eureka, Illinois, and a passenger were transported by Green County EMS for evaluation of injuries sustained from a car vs. deer crash at 12:39 p.m. Nov. 13 in the W6500 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe. She was westbound when a deer entered the roadway and hit the hood of her car. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. It was towed. Monroe Rural Fire Department assisted.
● John C. Duelmer Jr., 69, Brodhead, reported hitting a deer at 5:47 a.m. Nov. 25 in the W800 block of Wis. 11, Town of Decatur. He sustained minor injuries. His vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. It was towed.
