Wayne L. Broge, age 73 of Watertown, died on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Watertown Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 18, 1939 in Monroe the son of Ervin and Ethel (Ruch) Broge. Wayne and Vickie Johnson were married on November 5, 1983 in Monroe, Wisconsin. Wayne worked for the Railroad as a track inspector for 37 years. Wayne's greatest love was spending time with his family, especially spoiling his grand and great grandchildren, also being with other family and friends.
Surviving is his wife, Vickie Broge of Watertown; daughter, Wendy (Randy) Sager of Rock City, IL; their son: Jeremy Wand, his children: Haley and Isabelle Wand: daughter, Robyn (Steve) Goecks of Juda, their children: Jessica (Ryan) Cahill, their children: Danika and Kellen Cahill, Jamie (Josh) Riese: their children: Kaden and Jaxton Riese; step-daughter, Jennifer (Brian) Burris of Wilmington, Delaware; their children: Connor and Piper Burris, sisters, Yvonne (Merwyn) Rose of Monroe, Cindy (David) Roessler of Troy, Montana and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tracy, sister, Gwen Elhert and brother, Dean Broge.
A Celebration of Life will be at noon on Friday, September 28, 2012 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Dr. and 18th Avenue in Monroe with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating.
A Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Wayne's memory.
