Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the N4900 block of Rufer Road of Adams township. Deputies report Garrett J. Fox, 18, Monroe, was shining deer while driving and his vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and hit a tree. Two passengers in the vehicle, Derek W. Riese, 20, Monroe, and Jared W. Riese, 15, Monroe, sustained injuries but declined medical attention. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

A vehicle driven by Russell D. Atkinson, 47, Brodhead, collided with a raccoon at about 4:45 a.m. Tuesday in the N3300 block of Wisconsin 104 in Decatur township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

DARLINGTON - George Williams, 80, Belmont, collided with a deer at about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday on County X in Elk Grove township.
