NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:15 p.m. May 24 on Wisconsin 69 at 14th Avenue. Officers report Kent A. Braure, 53, rural Belleville, pulled into traffic from a stop sign on 14th Avenue, believing a car, driven by Kathryn L. Hanson, 87, New Glarus, was signaling to turn from Wis. 69 on to 14th Avenue. Hanson told officers she was intending to turn into the restaurant parking lot just past the intersection. The Baurer vehicle received minor damage, and the Hanson vehicle received moderate damage.

• An investigation into a hit-and-run accident to a parked car, owned by Gregory J. Hoffman, Belleville, at about 10:15 p.m. May 24 on 5th Avenue near 2nd Street, led to the identification of a suspect vehicle owned and operated by Dalene K. Bolly, 47, New Glarus. Bolly told police she didn't realize she had struck the parked vehicle. Both vehicles received minor damage. No citations were issued in the matter, which remains under investigation.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:45 p.m. May 20 in the 600 block of 6th Avenue. Officers report that Shelley A Yeager, 47, New Glarus, was attempting to make a U-turn in the parking lot of the New Glarus Nursing Home and struck a light pole. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3:45 a.m. Sunday on Wisconsin 81 at Keegan Lane in the Town of Jordan. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Kurt T. Peterson 21, Blanchardville, was traveling northbound on Keegan Lane when he failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle traveled across Wis. 81 and went off the road, across a creek and struck an embankment. Peterson was not wearing his seatbelt and there was no airbag in the vehicle. Peterson sustained injuries and was transported by EMS to Monroe Clinic. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. Peterson subsequently was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, first offense. Peterson also was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign. Argyle EMS, Green County EMS, Browntown First Response and Blanchardville Fire Department also responded to the crash.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 12:45 p.m. Sunday in the W5800 block of Robey Road in the Town of Washington. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Daniel John Bauman, 35, Monroe, was traveling westbound on Robey Road when he lost control and crashed into a tree. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about at about 12:15 p.m. Saturday, on County P, west of Haddinger Road, in the Town of Clarno.

Deputies report a motorcycle driven by Gerald A. Edelman, 64, Glenview, Ill., was westbound on County P when he lost control due to loose gravel on the roadway. The motorcycle entered the ditch, overturned and Edelman was ejected. Edelman, wearing full-face helmet with eye protection, was injured, but refused medical treatment. The motorcycle received damage and was towed from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Celia A. Woods 17, Stoughton, collided with a deer at about 1 a.m. Sunday in the W4200 block of Tunnel Road in the Town of Exeter. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
