MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident about 1:15 p.m. Thursday in the N2200 block of County T. Evelyn S. Thoman, 55, Monroe, began to make a U-turn, when her vehicle hit a tractor-trailer semi unit driven by Brian F. Holzman, 37, Milwaukee. Thoman's vehicle hit the trailer, causing minor damage to the trailer and moderate damage to her vehicle. The tractor received minor damage from hitting a driveway access when the operator took evasive action. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. The case remains under investigation.

• Deputies were called about 7:15 p.m. Thursday to investigate a report of a two-vehicle accident about 4:15 p.m. on a closed portion of Wisconsin 78 north of Wis. 39. Deputies report that Colleen K. Borcherding, 47, rural Blanchardville, was southbound on Wis. 78 when a bulldozer (driver not identified by police) in front of her started to back up and collided with her. No injuries were reported. The case remains under investigation.

• A vehicle driven by Erik B. Baker, 28, Monticello, hit a deer about 3:30 a.m. Thursday in the N8800 block of County CC in the Town of Exeter. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Marcia L. Harried, 45, New Glarus, hit a deer about 10:15 a.m. Thursday in the W7300 block of County H in the Town of York. The vehicle received moderate damage.
