DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• No one was injured after a tractor-trailer crash on Wisconsin 11, Gratiot Township, at 2:27 a.m. Brent Rauk, 44, Evansville, was driving a semi tractor-trailer hauling petroleum gas and attempted to turn left onto County KK from Wis. 11. While turning, the trailer detached from the tractor and tipped over into the ditch line. The trailer was not punctured, but the Darlington Hazmat team was called in to ensure the safety of first responders. Wis. 11 was closed down for about six hours while the trailer was removed. County KK was closed down for about seven hours. Warren Fire Department, South Wayne Fire Department, Gratiot Fire Department, Darlington police, Wisconsin State Patrol Gratiot EMS and Rural Medical Ambulance assisted at the scene.

• A deputy responded to a vehicle in the ditch at 3:22 a.m. on U.S. 151, Township of Belmont. Grant County deputies and UW Campus police assisted at the scene.

• Carlyn Klotzbach, 44, Shullsburg, reported that her van slid into the ditch along Wis. 11, Shullsburg, at 7:02 a.m. The van sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on West Water Street, Shullsburg, at 7:02 a.m. Daniel Leahy, 29, Shullsburg, was driving a vehicle that hit a van driven by Julianne Ubersox, 37, Shullsburg. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Railroad Avenue, Village of Benton, at 7:05 a.m. Stephen Redfearn, 45, Cuba City, was driving a vehicle that hit another driver's vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

• Cathy Hastings, 63, Shullsburg, reported that her vehicle slid into the ditch along Wis. 11, Shullsburg Township, at 7:09 a.m.

• Shyntel Owen, 38, Shullsburg, reported that her vehicle slid into a yard along Wis. 11, Benton Township, at 7:36 a.m. The vehicle sustained minor damage. Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.

• Anna Fitzsimons, 19, Darlington, reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on County K, Darlington Township, at 7:38 a.m.

• Deborah Pederson, 62, Hazel Green, reported that her vehicle slid into the ditch along Wis. 11, Benton Township, at 7:58 a.m. The vehicle sustained minor damage.

• Sharon Signer, 66, Gratiot, reported that her vehicle slid into a ditch along Wisconsin 78, Wiota Township, at 8:14 a.m. Signer's vehicle sustained minor damage.
