MONROE - On Friday:

• Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident in the 100 block of 7 1/2 Street. Susan R. Facklam, 44, Browntown, was cited at 1:32 p.m. for failure to yield right-of-way while making a left turn after her vehicle hit a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old woman from Monroe. The injured party declined medical treatment at the scene.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at 15th Avenue and 11th Street. Daniel L. Tinoco, 17, Monroe, was cited at 7:59 p.m. for failure to stop at a stop sign after his vehicle hit a vehicle driven by a 54-year-old man from Monroe.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at the Pleasant View Complex in the N3150 block of Wisconsin 81, Town of Monroe, at 3:14 p.m. Friday. Sarah E. Skelton, 30, Monroe, was backing her vehicle out of a parking spot and hit a legally parked vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.

On Saturday:

• Nicole M. Schmitt, 39, Edgerton, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the W6500 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Monroe, at 12:03 p.m. Schmitt was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the front of her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

• Jessica L. Tollakson, 31, Argyle, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred on County C west of Jordan Center Road, Town of Adams, at 5:11 p.m. Tollakson was eastbound on County C when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the passenger-side of her vehicle. The passenger-side window was broken and the vehicle was driven from the scene.

• Robert J. Finley, 71, Monroe, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred on Wisconsin 104 at English Settlement Road, Town of Albany, at 6:53 p.m. Finley was southbound on Wis. 104 when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the front-end of his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.

• Matthew W. Weik, 42, Wrenshall, Minn., sustained an injury in a one-vehicle accident in the N500 block of County M, Town of Cadiz, at 5:22 p.m. Sunday. Weik told deputies he was southbound on County M and saw some loose cattle in the east ditch. As Weik was looking at the cattle, he lost control of his truck and trailer in a curve and entered the ditch. The truck and trailer then hit a road marker post and a phone junction box before coming to a stop in a field. Weik sustained an injury but declined medical treatment. The truck and trailer sustained minor damage and was towed from the field, and then driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Jodi Winslow, 50, Scales Mound, Ill., reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on County W, Benton Township, at 8:57 a.m.

• Cathy Calvert, 48, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on Wisconsin 23, Willow Springs Township, at 6:12 p.m.
