Thelma A. Pinnow, age 88 of Monroe, WI, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Monroe Hospital. She was born January 16, 1926 in Sidney, Nebraska, the daughter of Louis and Edith (Pokorny) Deaver. Thelma married Paul Irving Elliott on September 24, 1946 and he passed away February 16, 1985. She then married Robert L. Pinnow on July 28, 1990 and he passed away June 16, 2006. Thelma graduated from High School in Belgrade, Nebraska in 1943. She earned her LPN from Highland Community College and worked at the Monroe Manor until her retirement. Thelma was a member of the Orangeville United Methodist Church and the High Twelve of the Masonic Temple of Freeport. Thelma loved reading, gardening, and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her 4 children - Irene Rothe of Auburn, ME, Glen Elliott of Orangeville, Nancy (Mark) Kneifel of Wappingers Falls, NY, and Connie (David) Thorson of Argyle, WI; stepdaughter - Diane (Luke) Lekovish of Columbia, SC; 5 grandchildren - Elizabeth (Ryan) Rothe, Eric and Kevin Kneifel, Stephanie and Crystal Thorson; 3 step-grandchildren - Jill and Scott Lekovish, and Shelly (Jim) Schroeder; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; 4 sisters - Katherine Calhoun of Sioux City, IA, Frances (John) Guthals of Sierra Vista, AZ, Jane Cramer of Florida, and Mary (Victor) Taylor of Omaha, NE.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husbands Paul Elliott and Robert Pinnow, sister Doris Ann Deaver, daughter-in-law Anne Elliott, and a stepdaughter Adrian Hutmacher.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the Cramer Leamon Funeral Home in Orangeville, IL.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Orangeville United Methodist Church.

Officiating the service will be Rev. James Ketzel.

Internment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport.

A memorial fund has been established in Thelma Pinnow's name.
