Scott T. Laidlaw, 28 of Elgin passed on July 17, 2016 in Chicago surrounded by his family. He was born June 20, 1988 in Hoffman Estates, IL.
Scott enjoyed golfing with his Mom, archery, hunting and watching the Packers with his Grandma and Grandpa Vic and loved to spend time with his family especially, all the little ones that would flock to him. He graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BS in Economics in 2011. He really was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. Scott will be missed for his infectious smile and caring heart.
He is survived by his parents, Pamela (James) Drafall and John Laidlaw, his grandparents, Pat & Vic Kressin, Ralph Drafall, Helen Laidlaw and Diane Morecraft his siblings, Ashley (Andrew) Mortimer, Rebecca Drafall, Brian Drafall, Brandon (Jessica) Drafall, his many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, July, 21, 2016 at Highland Avenue Church of the Brethren 783 W Highland Ave. Elgin, Il at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be private. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday July 20, 2016, at the church from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
