Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Christopher J. Wozniak, Pleasant Prairie, was cited for speeding at 7:22 p.m. Sunday, May 6, in the 300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

- David A. Scofield, Jr., 23, Brodhead, was cited in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, for driving with a suspended license (seventh offense), driving a vehicle with more than two headlamps, driving an unregistered vehicle, displaying false registration plates and contributing to the delinquency of a child under 18. Scofield's passenger, a 16-year-old Brodhead girl, was cited for a curfew violation.

- Clarence H. Hack, 42, Brodhead, was arrested in the 1200 block of 17th Street at 11:51 p.m. Friday, May 11, for driving while intoxicated, driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration, unsafe lane deviation, driving with a suspended license and driving at an unreasonable and imprudent speed.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Matthew A. Brinkmeier, 27, Monroe, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated (first offense), hit-and-run to an unattended vehicle, driving without auto insurance and keeping open intoxicants in a vehicle at about 1:15 a.m. Friday, May 11, following a two-vehicle collision in the 2500 block of 13th Street. Brinkmeier reportedly hit a legally parked, unoccupied vehicle owned by Justin J. Curran, 30, Monroe, and attempted to flee the scene but his vehicle became disabled. Both vehicles were severely damaged. Brinkmeier's vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. He was released pending court.

- Cameron R. Bader, 24, Monroe, was arrested in the 1700 block of 9th Avenue at about 12:15 a.m. Saturday, May 12, on charges of driving while intoxicated (third offense), keeping open intoxicants in a vehicle and racing on a highway. He posted bond and was released pending court.

- Michael L. Santoro, 19, Monroe, was arrested in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, on three warrants issued by the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department for failure to pay fines. He was turned over to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department.
