Monroe Police

MONROE - Lamer C. Davis, 33, Beloit, was arrested at 6:27 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, in the 100 block of West 8th Street for an outstanding warrant issued by the Beloit Police Department. Davis was confined in the Green County Jail.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Matthew P. Baumgartner, 22, Monroe, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a Department of Corrections probation violation following a traffic stop for an equipment violation on 6th Street near 26th Avenue, Monroe. The passenger Cody J. Vavra, 23, Monroe, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were jailed pending court. Baumgartner was also cited for obstructed drivers vision, front. The Sheriff's Office K-9 unit Ike assisted with the stop.

• William Docherty, 32, Monroe, was taken into custody at 10:56 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, on a probation hold at the Wisconsin Department of Correction's Office at the Green County Justice Center. Docherty was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday, Feb. 11:

• Deputies responded to a residence at 7:35 a.m. on County K, Gratiot Township, for a report of an unwanted subject at the residence. The person left prior to law enforcement's arrival.

• A deputy investigated a complaint of several windows having been broken at an unoccupied building on Main Street, Gratiot, at 9 a.m.

• A deputy responded to a traffic complaint at 10 a.m. of an abandoned vehicle parked on North Road, Wiota Township. The vehicle was partially blocking access to a snowmobile trail. The owner of the vehicle was notified and asked to remove the vehicle.

• Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on College Farm Road, Elk Grove Township. Platteville EMS and the Wisconsin State Patrol assisted on the scene at 10:38 a.m.

• A deputy provided traffic control at 11:26 a.m. on County W, Gratiot Township, until a large bale of hay could be removed from the roadway.

• A report was filed at 11:30 a.m. for an Internet fraud incident by the victim, who is a resident of Seymour Township.

• A deputy took a report of theft at 11:59 a.m. at the Black Hawk schools on East Center Street, South Wayne.

• A deputy assisted Lafayette County Human Services with locating a subject that walked away from a residence on South Iowa Street, Shullsburg. The adult male was located a short time later at a Water Street business and was returned to the residence at 9:30 p.m.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - On Sunday, Feb. 9:

• Rani S. Hermanson, 27, Apple River, Ill., was cited at 11:50 p.m. for operating a vehicle after suspension, following a traffic stop on Wis. 23.

• Timmy L. Johnson Jr., 25, Dubuque, was cited at 2:40 a.m. for operating a vehicle after suspension following a traffic stop on Galena Street. Johnson was taken to the Lafayette Sheriff's Department where he posted his citation and was released.
