Lena-Phyllis Ann Schiess, age 83, passed away on Saturday November 27, 2010 at Morgan Memorial Nursing Home. She was born on June 20, 1927 in Benton, WI. to Roy and Edna (Ferry) Downs. She married Jacob Schiess Jr. on August 11, 1945 and they recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Jacob of Lena, 5 Children; Pat (Buck) Simmons of Stockton, Don (Judy) Schiess of Stockton, Lana Hermann of Drury, MO, Deb (Dave) Noll of Stockton, and Mike Schiess of Lena, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. 7 Sisters; Velma Bitz of Warren, Hazel Pierce of Kent, Alice Brown of Warren, Joyce Zeal of Warren, Donna Feltmeyer of Warren, June Dawson of Warren, and Judy Baber of Stockton.

She was preceded in death by 1 brother Kenneth Downs and 1 Sister Ruby Phillips.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday December 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 till 7:00 PM on Tuesday November 30, 2010 at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home.

Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor. Mike Jones.
