Mary E. Schmid, age 71, formerly of Monticello/Monroe, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua.She was born on February 27, 1941 the daughter of Wayne and Ellen (Hawkins) Jackson. Mary graduated from Evansville High School and Green County Normal Teachers College. Mary and Glenn Schmid were married on November 28, 1959 in Monticello, they divorced in 2000.
