Kyle James Minder, 31, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2014 after a tragic accident. Kyle was born on September 30, 1982 in Clearwater, Florida to Randy Minder and Kathy (Minder) Schneider. He spent his childhood in Colorado. Kyle joined the Navy in 2002, serving on the air craft carrier U.S.S. Ronald Reagan. He was currently employed with Nestle Purina since 2008. Kyle was currently enrolled at Coconino Community College, pursuing an electrical engineering degree.
Kyle was a history buff, motorcycle and hot rod enthusiast and very passionate about his country. Kyle was known for giving to others before himself. His smile was able to light up a room. Kyle never met a stranger that he did not like. His smile, humor and laugh will be missed by all.
Kyle is survived by his mother and stepfather Kathy and Dennis Schneider from Colorado, his dad Randy Minder from Arizona, brothers' Jordan and Travis Minder and step-sister Katy Neville from Colorado, and grandparents George and Alice Williams from Wisconsin. Kyle is also survived by his girlfriend Terrie Hobbs, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Kyle was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Fred and Daphne Minder.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, January 26th at 4:00 p.m. at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E Route 66 Flagstaff, AZ, 86001. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) in Kyle's name.
