Joseph Francis McKeon, age 65 of Onalaska, WI, a long time resident of Blanchardville died on Friday, April 6th peacefully at his home.He was born on December 20, 1946 in St. Joseph Hospital in Dodgeville to James & Alvina (Granberg) McKeon. He grew up in rural Blanchardville and attended the Grandview rural school, and graduated from the Blanchardville High School in 1965. He worked for the Carnes Company in Verona, and then entered the US Air Force where he served from 1969 to 1971, first in Lackland Air Force Base outside of San Antonio, Texas, and then served in Viet Nam during the war until his discharge.
