Dorothy E. Loertscher, age 91 of Monroe, died Thursday, December 31, 2015. She was born on July 10, 1924 in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Leland and Laura (Arndt) Merrill. She graduated from Elkhorn High School. Dorothy and Ted Loertscher were married on May 13, 1950 in Monroe. She was a member of Monroe Bible Church.
She is survived by her daughter Jean (Russell) Schumacher of Clearwater, FL; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Lyle.
Per Dorothy's request, private graveside services will be held at a later date. Shriner Hager Gohlke funeral home is assisting the family.
