Cheryl A. Blohm, 60, of Beloit, WI, died Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Beloit Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 31, 1955 in Monroe, WI, the daughter of Clarence H. and Marjorie V. (Lederman) Soddy. Cheryl was a 1973 graduate of Janesville Craig High School. She married John M. Blohm on October 31, 1987 in Redeemer Covenant Church, Beloit, WI.

Cheryl was employed for over 40 years at Beloit Memorial Hospital as a medical transcriptionist. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, crocheting and researching her family genealogy. Cheryl formerly taught youth group at Redeemer Covenant Church. She was a former president and member of the Janesville Figure Skating Club. Cheryl was also an active member of Central Christian Church and was involved in AWANA.

Survivors include her husband, John Blohm of Beloit, WI; children, Laura and Heidi Blohm both of Beloit, WI; her father, Clarence Soddy of Janesville, WI; sister, Julie (Steve) Soddy Gamblin of Bloomington, IN; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother and sister Barbara Lynn.

A Memorial service for Cheryl will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 in Central Christian Church, 2460 Milwaukee Road Beloit, WI, with Pastor Randy Kiger officiating. Inurnment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville, WI, at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service Monday in the church.

A memorial will be established in Cheryl's name at a later date.
