Bruce L. Hanson age 52 of Twin Grove, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Pecatonica, Illinois. He was born August 20, 1957 in Argyle, WI, the son of Myron and Mayme (Ingwell) Hanson and graduated from Argyle High School in 1975.

Bruce and Catherine M. Hauser were married on February 5, 1983 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Argyle, WI. Bruce worked on the family farm in the Postville area, worked for 13 years for Cunningham Distributing Company as a beer salesman, and for the past 20 years as route sales for Frito Lay. He attended St. Victor Catholic Church in Monroe.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine Hanson of Twin Grove, WI; mother, Mayme Hanson of Blanchardville, WI; children, Danielle (Tim OâBrien) Hanson of Chicago, IL, Dena (Jeremy) Dammen of Argyle, WI, and Zachary Hanson of Twin Grove, WI; grandson, Tre Dammen; siblings, Ralph (Jean) Hanson of Monroe, WI, Dorothy (Donald) Dammen of Argyle, WI, and Jim (Barb) Hanson of New Glarus, WI; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Donna Hauser of Argyle, WI; and many Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives. He was predeceased by his father, Myron Hanson and sister, Darlene Hanson.

Bruce's wife, children, and grandson were the love, joy, and pride of his life. He had a passion for baking and grilling everyone will miss his croissants at the holidays. His dogs, Sneakers, Jake, and Maxi will miss their nightly walks. All who knew him will miss him dearly. He will continue to help others with his donation of organs to "Gift of Hope."

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at St. Victor Catholic Church in Monroe with Fr. Michael E. Klarer Celebrating. Burial will follow in Twin Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 P.M. Tuesday at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive and 18th Avenue in Monroe.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Bruce's memory.
