BRODHEAD — Suspicious activity was reported at 11:40 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 1800 block of East 9th Avenue. Nothing suspicious was found.
For the week of Oct. 24 to Oct. 30, police performed 54 security checks, 17 citizen assists, 10 assists of other agencies, 14 follow-ups to incidents, nine vehicle registration and three traffic stops; responded to 35 calls for service and reported 14 EMS calls, 10 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls and three fire calls. No detox or mental health transports were reported.
On Oct. 24:
● A weapons offense involving someone injured by a BB gun was reported at 10:02 a.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street. This remains under investigation.
● Harassment was reported at 7:37 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 7th Avenue. This remains under investigation.
● Theft was reported at 9:47 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. This remains under investigation.
On Oct. 26:
● Fraud involving a worthless check was reported at 12:07 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. This remains under investigation.
