On June 22:

● At 3:52 p.m., officers arrested Derek E. Gobeli, 37, of Warren , IL, in the 300 block of 8th Street, following a domestic abuse investigation. Gobeli was charged with disorderly conduct and stalking under Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence laws. Gobeli was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

On June 23:

● At approximately 6:11 p.m., officers and Green County EMS were called to a two-vehicle accident with reported injuries in the 100 block of North 18th Avenue. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Richard R. Horn, 85, of Brooklyn, exited off of the eastbound off ramp from STH 11, stopped at North 18th Avenue, then pulled out into the path of a vehicle northbound on N 18th Ave, operated by a 62-year-old Shullsburg man. The Shullsburg man was transported by Green County EMS with non-life threatening injuries. Both vehicles sustained disabling damages and were towed. Horn was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and was released pending a court appearance.

On June 25:

● At 9:02 p.m., officers were called to a trespassing complaint in the 2700 block of 8th Avenue. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Nicole J. Bleiler, 41, of Monroe, on an arrest warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole. Bleiler was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.

On June 27:

● At 4:48 p.m., officers were called to a business in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West for a shoplifting complaint. The investigation resulted in the arrest of David J. Muntz, 41, of Hazel Green, on charges of retail theft. Muntz was also wanted on arrest warrants from the State of Iowa, and was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings

On July 1:

● At 6:19 p.m., officers were called to a vehicle vs parked vehicle accident with no reported injuries, in the 800 block of 6th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Kevin A. Steiner, 44, of Monroe, was traveling east on 6th Street in the 800 block, did not see an unoccupied, legally parked vehicle due to the glare of the sun, and rear-ended the parked vehicle. There was disabling damage to the Steiner vehicle, and functional damage to the parked vehicle. No citations were issued at the time.
