J Thomas MacInnis, age 72, of Belleville, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the SSM Monroe Hospice Home. He spent his last weeks surrounded by those he loved the most and enjoying the peace of nature.
Tom was born on December 21, 1951 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to John Wesley and Delora Jean (Kempt) MacInnis. After living in Michigan, Tom spent time in Garden Grove, California. He then came back to settle in the Midwest, moving to Monroe, Wisconsin. He spent many years working at Swiss Colony in Monroe. Tom went on to work and live in Belleville, Wisconsin. Tom worked in quality control at Duluth Trading Company where he later retired. He enjoyed the job, but he loved the friends he met through the job even more.
Tom was a passionate person. From a young age, he had the soul of an artist. He loved to create art and he had a special gift for painting. He enjoyed motorsports of all kinds. He liked to spend his time reading and traveling when he could. More than anything though, he loved spending time with his friends. He always had a very big heart. He was loyal and loved those he cared for deeply. He would do anything for his friends.
He is survived by his two brothers, Mark MacInnis of McFarland, and Robert MacInnis of Henderson, NV. He is further survived by close friends, Layna Tracy of Brodhead and Marie Salisbury of Verona. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John.
Per Thomas’ wishes, no services will be held.
