To the Editor:
Do we really want a convicted felon and sex abuser as President of the United States? A man whose word is of no value when conducting business. A man who cheats and bankrupts his contractors because they thought he would pay them. I can’t imagine any company in Green County doing business with a person like that. Regardless of our political views when folks in Green County shake hands on a deal we honor it and so do the businesses.
How can we allow a man like that conduct foreign policy? Everyone knows he lies all the time and can’t be trusted. What will our allies or adversaries think?
Neil deGrasse Tyson said it best “How sad it must be — believing that scientists, scholars, historians, economists, and journalists have devoted their entire lives to deceive you, while a reality tv star with decades of fraud and exhaustively documented lying is your only beacon of truth and honesty.”
Four years ago the DOW was 19,000 today it is 42,871; unemployment was 9.2% today it is 4.1% facts matter.
We have an opportunity for a new way forward. Will it all be sunshine & rose petals — no, but it promises to be more honest and won’t involve revenge against actual or imaginary foes. VOTE BLUE.
