On September 27:

● 2:38 a.m. Seth E. Dunlavey, 21, Browntown was cited for Operating While Intoxicated (1st Offense) on STH 23, City of Darlington. Lafayette County EMS assisted.

● 6:10 p.m. Gary H. Eidsmoe, 68, Blanchardville reported striking a deer on STH 78, Blanchard Township. Eidsmoe reported no injuries. Eidsmoe’s 2017 Chevrolet received functional damage and driven from the scene.

On September 28:

● 5:14 a.m. James A. Starr, 52, Argyle reported striking a deer on CTH G, Argyle Township. Starr reported no injuries. Starr’s 2017 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On September 29:

● 8:00 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 78, Wiota Township for a one vehicle accident. Joseph A. Pickett, 43, South Wayne was traveling on STH 78 when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a mailbox. Pickett reported no injuries. Pickett’s 2023 Ram received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 11:35 p.m. Deputies, Darlington Fire, and Lafayette County EMS responded to Roller Coaster RD, Darlington Township for a one vehicle accident. Allan A. Espino-Martinez, 17, Darlington was traveling on Roller Coaster RD when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway and entered the ditch where he came to a rest. Espino-Martinez reported minor injuries sustained in the crash. The 2011 Ford operated by Espino-Martinez received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Darlington Police assisted. Espino-Martinez was cited for Failure to Maintain Control, Operating Without a Valid License (OWL – 2nd Offense w/in 3 Years), No Proof of Insurance, and Failure to Maintain Tires/Rims.
