Mission:> Habitat for Humanity of Green County works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to put faith in action by building affordable, quality houses with families in need to eliminate sub-standard housing, one family at a time. It is an all volunteer, locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.

Volunteer opportunities:> The Web site has a Volunteer Interest Form that can be completed and returned to get placed on volunteer lists. You can also contact the group by phone. Among volunteers needed are construction volunteers and people willing to serve on committees such as fund raising, family selection and financing.

Material needs:> Money, building materials and in-kind donations, land, alternate gifts such as houses in need of being refurbished or moved, or donations of old cars, boats and RVs. Contact the organization for more information.
