MONROE - The Monroe Woman's Club Christmas Stocking Project, in conjunction with Monroe One Hour Cleaners, is sponsoring a coat drive to collect new and like-new coats for infants and children through Nov. 1.
This year, the collection will include only infants sizes through size 14 for boys and girls.
Coats can be dropped off at Monroe One Hour Cleaners, 1629 9th St. Coats must be in new condition without stains, tears or broken zippers. Monroe One Hour Cleaners is donating its services to clean the coats.
The mission of Christmas Stocking, which was founded more than 60 years ago, is to help families in need by providing food for a holiday meal and gifts for the children.
Donations are accepted throughout the year and can be sent to Christmas Stocking Fund, 901 16th Ave., Monroe, WI 53566.
