MONROE - A Brooklyn man with multiple convictions of felony pot possession was arrested again on the same charge after a traffic stop early Tuesday, May 15 in the Town of Exeter.

Stanley Wilkerson, Jr., 37, was stopped at 12:55 a.m. in the W2900 block of Wisconsin 92 for having only one operational headlight on his Chevy pickup and subsequently arrested on a warrant issued by Iowa County, according to a Green County Sheriff's deputy report.

During a search at the jail, deputies allegedly found a plastic baggie containing 3.2 grams of marijuana concealed in a cellphone case on Wilkerson's belt.

Wilkerson appeared Tuesday afternoon via video relay from the jail for a bail hearing in Green County Circuit Court on a Class I felony charge of possessing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), second or greater offense. Judge James Beer set his bail at a $100 cash bond and $900 signature bond.

Wilkerson was convicted on the same charge in Dane County in 2006 and in 2007, according to online court records.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 21.
