Monday, April 30

The City of Monroe Information Technology Committee will meet at 4 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include purchase of a projector system for council chambers.

The City of Monroe Board of Public Works will meet at 4:30 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include extending Lakeside Heights project along County Lane.

The City of Monroe Public Safety Committee will meet at 5 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include two handicapped parking stalls in the 1400 block of 20th Avenue.

The School District of Monroe will hold a special board meeting at 5 p.m. at the district administrative center. Agenda items include a closed session discussion to consider employment, promotion, compensation of performance evaluation data of a public employee.

The City of Monroe gives notice that a majority of Common Council committee members may be present at the GCDC dinner at 5:30 p.m. at the Edelweiss Chalet Country Club in New Glarus. No official city business will be acted upon.

The Albertson Memorial Library will hold its board meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the library.

The Monticello School District will hold a special board meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the high school. Agenda items include a closed session discussion concerning personnel contracts.

The City of Monroe Historic Preservation Commission will meet at noon at the city hall. Agenda items include a discussion on sign regulations and procedures for complaints and noncompliance.

The City of Monroe Finance and Taxation Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include a revised agreement with Green County Humane Society.

The Lafayette County Land Conservation Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the USDA conference room. Agenda items include a discussion and possible action regarding awards and dairy breakfast.

The Village of New Glarus Personnel/Finance Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the village hall. Agenda items include the consideration of contract with TDS - new phone system.

The Village of New Glarus Board will meet at 7 p.m. at the village hall. Agenda items include the consideration of the site plan for Daryl and Deb Watterson, Sugar River Pizza.

The City of Monroe Judiciary and Ordinance Review Committee will meet at 7 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include an ordinance change restricting large vehicle and trailer parking.

The City of Monroe Common Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include a discussion regarding refinancing $4 million in bonds for TID No. 7.

The Green County Agriculture and Extension Education Committee will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Justice Center. Agenda items include the consideration of a nutrition educator position for Green County in 2012.

The Monticello School District Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the high school. Agenda items include a discussion and possible action on designating a law firm for district business.

The Green County Veterans Service Office Committee will meet at 4:30 p.m. at the Veterans Services Office. Agenda items include election of committee vice chairperson.

Tuesday, May 15

The Green County Board of Canvass will meet at 9 a.m. at the courthouse to certify the partisan recall primary results.

The Audit Subcommittee of the Green County Human Services Board will meet at 2:15 p.m. at the Government Services meeting. Agenda items include a closed session discussion to audit client specific bills for payment.

Friday, May 18

The Town of Monroe Board of Review will meet at 1 p.m. at the town hall. Objection forms and appointment may be obtained from the clerk. The clerk must be notified of intent to file, or the forms returned, 48 hours prior to the Board of Review.
