MONROE — The 52nd Annual Swissfest will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 at Turner Hall of Monroe, 1217 17th St.
The longtime Monroe traditional event is hosted by Monroe Swiss Singers. There will be a program of authentic Swiss folk music featuring Green County’s finest Swiss folk choirs and performers as well as alphorns, yodeling, accordions, flag-throwing and more. In addition to the authentic experience, Turner Hall’s Ratskeller Restaurant will be open following the program for more Swiss culture. Tickets are available at Orange Kitten Yarns on Monroe’s Square, in the Ratskeller Restaurant, or at the door.
