MONROE — Monroe Sons of Norway Ostestaden Lodge will hold a special meeting Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Union Presbyterian Church in Monroe.
Nationally known artist and humorist Bill Amundson will present a program on “Growing Up Norwegian in Wisconsin.” Amundson, who has moved back to Stoughton recently, will use slides, video and music to entertain with his insights about being an artist and a cartoonist both in Colorado and now “back home” in Stoughton.
His unique outlook on the world is captured in his humor and his satirical cartoons. This is a free program open to the public. The lodge meets at 6:30 p.m. for coffee and a treat before the presentation which will begin at 7 p.m.
