MONROE — Monroe Sons of Norway will hold its annual fundraising auction Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Union Presbyterian Church in Monroe. The auction will begin at 1 p.m. and will continue until all items are sold. 

A wide variety of items are donated by members, some valuable, some tasty, some useful and some silly. There will be a live auctioneer to enjoy while shopping. Proceeds will be used in part for the foundation and part for program expenses during the year. The event is open to the public. Members can bring items to be donated on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. or Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
