MONROE — The Monroe Arts Center is proud to present two photography exhibitions in the MAC Galleries from Sept. 1 through Nov. 4. The Inner Creative, by photographer Gregg Schieve will be on exhibit in the Wellington/Muranyi Galleries at the Monroe Arts Center. Schieve’s exhibit features the natural beauty Wisconsin has to offer in everyday scenes of life.
For the 34th consecutive year, the Monroe Arts Center will sponsor the Photography Contest and Exhibit. Photographs entered in this contest will be on display in the Frehner Gallery at MAC. This contest is open to all non-professional photographers both adult and junior (under 18). Final registration and submissions for this contest are due on Friday, Aug. 25. Contest winners will be announced on the night of the opening reception, Friday, Sept. 1.

The Monroe Arts Center recently announced its 49th Season. As an arts organization, MAC strives to create arts programming that is culturally diverse and accessible to community members of all abilities. MAC is a regional asset serving almost 6,000 students, artists, and patrons yearly. The public is invited to join the MAC family as a member of the organization.
