FORRESTON — For Country Crossroads Quilt Guild program set for 7 p.m. on Monday, August 21, local artist Karen Hilliard will make her welcomed return. 

Hilliard is well known in the area for offering fun painting classes featuring various seasonal or home décor items. Her evening program will feature a trunk show of many of her creations. 

For guild members Karen, will present an all-day workshop creating Painted Garden Posts.

Guild meetings are held at 7 p.m. at the Forreston Grove Church, 7246 Freeport Road; Forreston, Ill., on the third Monday of each month, with ample time to meet and greet members before the meeting. Visitors are welcome, with a fee of $5 at the door.
