MONROE — Green County Leaders (GCL) announced Colony Brands as the recipient of the 2026 Leadership Tree, recognizing the company’s commitment to leadership and community. In early 2026, GCL invited nonprofits, municipalities, schools, and businesses throughout Green County to apply to become the home of the 2026 Leadership Tree. The tree serves as a lasting symbol of leadership, growth, and the impact individuals and organizations can have within their community. Colony Brands was selected from this year’s applicants to receive and host the 2026 Leadership Tree.

“Legacy is about always being rooted in a solid foundation centered around community, values, people, and the very long term. Planting a tree that will provide shade and beauty beyond today demonstrates the necessity to be good stewards of our future. We hope that our Legacy Tree will be something many future generations will enjoy, and will also help others to be mindful of how we can all make our corner of the world better for the future,” said Robert Erb, President & CEO of Colony Brands.
