FORRESTON — Country Crossroads Quilt Guild, for the program for Monday, July 17, at 7 p.m., will welcome the return of Phyllis Fay from Studio 180 Design.

Her evening program will feature a humorous lecture titled “Motivate Me to Use My Stash!” She will make guests think twice about what they already have and how they can use it to make several scrap quilts.

She will provide a trunk show of just a few dozen of her scrappy quilts along with a few suggestions on how to hold oneself accountable to use scraps and stash in the future.

For Members, Phyllis will present an all-day workshop using scraps and the Studio 180 Wedge Star tool.

Guild meetings are held at the Forreston Grove Church, 7246 Freeport Road; Forreston, Ill., on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m., with ample time to meet and greet members before the meeting. Visitors are welcome; for Visitors there is a fee of $5 at the door.
