Comets homecoming week festivities are set

Albany Homecoming

Dressup days are as follows:

■ Monday: favorite college apparel

■ Tuesday: school-appropriate pajamas

■ Wednesday: favorite superhero

■ Thursday: school-appropriate beach outfit

■ Friday: orange and blue Comet clothing

ALBANY - Albany homecoming week will run Oct. 9-14 with dress-up days, volleyball games during lunch and activities for the students. Each class will prepare a banner and float.

A powderpuff football game will be held Oct. 9 at Albany Village Ball Park.

The public is invited to attend the pep assembly at 1:15 p.m. Oct. 13 where the king and queen will be crowned. A parade will follow at approximately 2:15 p.m. The parade will start at the school and end at Legion Park.

The homecoming dance will be held from 8 p.m. to mijnight Oct. 14 with the grand march held at 8:30 p.m. Spectators may attend the grand march for $5.
