Benefit supper is tonight

MONROE - A benefit supper for Keanah Bates will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m. today, April 9 at Monroe United Methodist Church.

Bates, 13, was recently diagnosed with leukemia and blood clots in her heart. She is currently hospitalized in Madison. Supper will be hosted by Pizza Hut. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children 5 and under.

A silent auction will include 2010 autographed footballs from the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers; autographed pictures of Minnesota Vikings Adrian Peterson and Chicago Cubs Andrew Cashner and NASCAR driver Matt Kenseth; and tickets to Mt. Olympus in Wisconsin Dells. There will be raffle and bake sale items.
