Bel Canto Singers to present 'Roaring 20s'

MONROE - The Bel Canto Singers will present "The Roaring 20s, A Musical Journey" at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Monroe Arts Center. Featuring a jazz combo, the singers will perform American Classics including, "Ain't Misbehavin," "Blue Skies," "Let's Do It (Let's Fall in Love)," and "Someone to Watch Over Me."

Allen Redford directs the Bel Canto group. The concert will include solos of the times by Tracy Bristow and Megan Hoinacki, and instrumental numbers by the jazz combo of Randel Schneeberger, Doug Brown, Joe Steil and Brandon Wiemann.

Singers include: Susan Anderson, Kim Becker, Bobbie Bernet, Hans Bernet, Linda Boll, Tracy Bristow, Ed Grabow, Mary Hamilton, Lisa Hendrickson, Megan Hoinacki, Jeff Ingebritsen, Julie Johnson, Dale Johnson, Megan Jordan, Shelly Jordan, Jacob Keeffe, Sally Lanz, Jane Olson, John Patterson, Suzanne Rohloff, Marilyn Sandin-Ross, Bob Severson, Mary Soddy, Bill Spontak, Craig Tuttle, George Vernon, Marcia Wald, Martha Wolf and Don Zimmerman. Renee Setterstrom accompanies the group.
