No huge surprises in Idol elimination last night. Amy and Garrett were the weakest links and deserved to go. I didnt think Joanne and Colton were necessarily the next weakest contestants, but they were bound to go pretty soon anyway.

Judges notes: Paulas video did sadden me, though. Im old enough to remember when she could actually dance, not just give the impression of dancing while actually standing still. Heavy synthesizer was no doubt meant to disguise the fact she cant sing any longer either. I would have preferred to see the Straight Up video thats the Paula I know and love.
