BLANCHARDVILLE - Pecatonica junior Jaden Hendrickson scored a team-high 16 points to lead the second-seeded Vikings to a 70-34 win over 15th-seeded Central Wisconsin Christian Tuesday in a WIAA Division 5 regional quarterfinal game.

Pecatonica (16-7) raced out to a 17-point lead at the half, 41-24.

"We ran out to a 10-point lead in the first few minutes, and then they pulled it back to about four," Vikings coach Matt Fink said. "Then we went on a big run to close out the half. The lead in the second expanded to about 40 or so at one point."

Pecatonica senior Evan Prust added 15 points and junior Colton Schraepfer chipped in 12. Ten different Vikings scored in the win.

With the win, Pecatonica advances to play Fall River in a regional semifinal Friday in Blanchardville.

"It's going to be tough. Fall River is a very good team from a very good conference," Fink said.

Fall River 59, Juda 37

FALL RIVER - Junior Jared Klein scored a game-high 21 points to help the Pirates cruise to a WIAA Division 5 regional quarterfinal win over the Panthers Tuesday.

Fall River (14-9) jumped out to a 29-14 lead at the half. Juda senior Cole Fortney scored a team-high 13 points and senior Keagen Haffele added 10.

"Fall River did a nice job of rebounding the ball and they got some second shots," Juda coach Kurtis Mansfield said. "We had some opportunities to score. The ball just wouldn't bounce our way."

Mansfield commended Juda's seniors. With the loss, Juda closed the season 6-17 overall.

"It's really a special group," he said. "I have coached them for a long time. They have done a lot for our program."

Haffele closed out his senior season eclipsing the 1,000-point career mark.

"I'm just grateful I got to coach him for one year before he graduates," Mansfield said. "With Keagen being a four-year varsity player and three-year starter, he's just been special to watch. He kept fighting and didn't give up."
