DARLINGTON — The Darlington Redbirds collected 16 all-conference picks in football this year after finishing unbeaten and winning the league title.

Darlington senior Brady Horne was the league’s defensive player of the year, and junior teammate Max McGuire was the offensive lineman of the year. Head coach Travis Winkers was co-coach of the year with Lancaster’s Jordon Rolland.

Belleville tied Cuba City for second in league play at 5-2. Lancaster was 4-3 against conference opponents, while Mineral Point was 3-4, followed by Fennimore (1-6) and Parkview-Albany (0-7).
