ASHWAUBENON — Monroe senior Keon Butler finished 41st in the individual portion of the state bowling tournament held at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley March 1-3.

Butler had rolls of 213, 183 and 193 to finish with a 589 total in the semifinals. 

Wisconsin Dells senior Hunter Greifenhagen won the individual title, scoring a 1,405 through six games between the semifinals and the finals. Portage senior Hunter Lawless was second overall (1,355) and had the highest single game score on the weekend (290).

As a team, Monroe finished 22nd in Division 2. The Cheesemakers had a score of 2,656 in the 15-game set.

Antigo (3,165), Ashwaubenon (3,091), Peshtigo (3,069), Lake View Technology (3,013) and Amherst/Rosholt (2,990) each advanced to the semifinals. Antigo would eventually go on to beat Ashwaubenon in the championship match.
