Cardinals' 3,200 relay sets record

CLINTON - The Brodhead-Juda girls 3,200-meter relay team won a championship and set a meet record at the Clinton Relays on Saturday. The Cardinals' 3,200 relay team of sophomore Cora Purdue, senior Cameron Novy, senior Amber Pickel and senior Taylor Bluemel finished first in a meet record time of 9 minutes, 59.3 seconds. The time was about 28 seconds faster than runner-up Jefferson.
