Tia Lyn Stietz, age 22 of Gratiot, WI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at UW-Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born June 17, 1998 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital the daughter of Samuel and Kara (Neuenschwander) Stietz. Tia lived in Gratiot her entire life and graduated from Blackhawk High School in 2016.
Tia is survived by her mother: Kara Stietz of Gratiot; two brothers: Clayton Stietz of Gratiot and Justin Stietz of Browntown; one sister: Katie (Larry Drewry) Stietz of Walnut Creek, CA; a special friend: William Jackson; her beloved dog: Kong; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father: Samuel Stietz in 2015; her maternal grandparents: Karen Neuenschwander and Robert Neuenschwander; and her paternal grandparents: Edward and Carol Stietz.
Tia was the kind of friend you would always want around. She had an infectious smile, a contagious laugh, and an uncanny ability to make you smile. Tia loved to hang out with her friends and family creating memories they will all remember forever. She always spoiled her dog Kong anyway she could. Her brother Clayton was one of her best friends and she made it a priority to make it to every one of his sporting events.
A public visitation will be held Friday, November 27, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at The Potter’s House (W6540 Smock Valley Rd, Monroe WI 53566). A private family funeral service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020 with Rev. Christopher Schmidt officiating. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington, WI is serving the family.
