Gregory “Greg” D. Pickett age 67 of Platteville, WI passed away peacefully at Lyghthouse Assisted Living Center in Platteville on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Greg was born August 21, 1954, the son of Dean and Carol (Dovre) Pickett. He was born and raised in rural Darlington, WI and graduated from Argyle high School on 1972. Following High School, Greg attended Fennimore Vocational School. Following his time in Fennimore, Greg lived in various group homes until arriving at the Lyghthouse Assisted living in Platteville.

Greg is survived by his mother: Carol Pickett of Argyle, WI; two brothers: Jeff Pickett of rural Argyle, WI and Brian Pickett of Blanchardville WI; two sisters: Marsha Keller of East Troy, WI and Heather (Donald) Blosch of Shullsburg, WI and his nieces and nephews: Seth (Ann) Keller of Clinton, WI, Sarah (Jacob) England of White House, TN, Conrad Blosch of Sun Prairie, WI, Curtis Blosch of Darlington, Catie and Callie Blosch of Shullsburg.

Greg was preceded in death by his father: Dean Pickett in 1997; Paternal grandparents: Bernard (Margaret) Pickett; Maternal Grandparents: Albert (Mabel) Dovre and one brother-in-law: Martin Keller.

Greg enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and Jigsaw puzzles. He cherished the time spent with his family and friends. Greg will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held Saturday March 12, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle (801 Milwaukee St., Argyle WI, 53504). A visitation will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery following the service.
