GRATIOT TOWNSHIP - A Minnesota and Texas man sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a semi-truck rollover crash Thursday morning in Gratiot Township.
Abdullahi Sheikhibrahim Mohamed, 34, Minneapolis, and Hassan Ibrahim Ali Takow, 25, Dallas, were both injured and transported via EMS to an area hospital for their injuries at about 2:29 a.m.
Mohamed was driving the semi northbound on Wisconsin 78 when he lost control rounding a corner, according to a Lafayette County Sheriff's Department news release. The semi ended up on its side and was severely damaged. The 2004 Great Dane Trailer was later towed from the scene.
Rural Medical Ambulance, Gratiot Fire Department, Gratiot First Response, Warren Police, Warren Ambulance, Wisconsin State Patrol and Jo Davies Sheriff's Department also assisted at the scene.
