Power pole snapped by crash causes road closure

TOWN OF ADAMS - A 16-year-old Argyle teen received minor injuries after his vehicle crashed into a power pole in the Town of Adams, causing County J to be closed while repairs were made Sunday morning. According to a Green County Sheriff's Department news release, the unidentified teen was northbound on County J when a deer entered the roadway and the teen swerved to avoid the deer. The driver attempted to overcorrect the vehicle and lost control as the vehicle crossed the center line and hit a powerpole, snapping it.
