MONROE - Members of Cecil Jones VFW Post 2312 and its Ladies Auxiliary will be at local businesses Friday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 5 for Buddy Poppy Days.

Poppies are made by hospitalized veterans and proceeds from donations are used for assisting local veterans, as well as assisting children of veterans who are living at the VFW National Home for Children in Eaton Rapids, Mich.
