Home sales show increase statewide
real estate home for sale

MADISON — For the second straight month, robust sales of existing homes and limited statewide inventories of homes for sale drove housing prices higher, according to the most recent evaluation of the state housing market by the Wisconsin Realtors Association. January home sales were 8.9% higher than existing home sales in January 2019, and the median price rose 8.6% to $190,000 over that same 12-month period.

The median price for Green County decreased by 25.2% to $157,500 with home sales also decreasing by 33.3%.

Lafayette County home sales stayed the same.
